The team on the left are mainly residents of the new council flats in Mountown circa 1960s and a mixture of regular players who were playing other teams in the area and men who had retired from football but got together to form a team for the summer tournament played at T E Ks ground in Stradbrook
Some like John Lester , Eamon Walsh and Ger Power played for T E K others played for Farm United while John Kenny, Eamon Gaines and Harry Kelly had retired some years earlier
