Based in the Alliance and Dublin Gas Company in Dun Laoghaire, Alliance started in the late 1930’s as ALCO and played their home games at Newtownpark, Mick Molloy was the main man behind the club and when they signed many players from the Boro' area they changed their name to Alliance.
